Zentel 400 mg tablets contain albendazole, a broad-spectrum dewormer. They treat common intestinal worm infections such as roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and pinworm (threadworm).
Directions for use:
Adults and children over 2 years: take 1 tablet as a single dose. The tablet may be chewed, swallowed or crushed. No fasting or purging is needed. For pinworm, all household members are usually treated, and a repeat dose may be advised after 2 to 3 weeks. Do not use in pregnancy, and avoid becoming pregnant for 1 month after taking it.
