Clarinase tablets combine loratadine 5 mg (an antihistamine) with pseudoephedrine sulphate 120 mg (a decongestant) in a 12-hour release tablet. They relieve allergic rhinitis with a blocked nose.
Directions for use:
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 tablet twice a day, swallowed whole with water - do not crush or chew. Do not use for longer than the leaflet advises. Do not use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, an overactive thyroid, difficulty passing urine, or if you take MAO inhibitors. Not for children under 12.
